Description
The remains of Bridgnorth Castle, built in the 12th century and slighted (demolished to stop the enemy from using it) by Oliver Cromwell's Parliamentary forces during the Civil War in 1646/7. The ruin now leans at about 15 degrees (a far greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa!) and is a feature of a hilltop park in the Shropshire town.

It barely seems like yesterday that we were there, though I know this is a more recent photo of the place. Such a strange sight, and you just know that if Jarret were to stand under it, it would fall on him.
