Description
LMS Ivatt Class 4 2-6-0 no. 43106, unofficially known as The Flying Pig, running tender-first along the elevated section of the Severn Valley Railway between Kidderminster Town and Bewdley. Shame about the lack of steam, but that's what a downhill gradient on a warmish day does for you!
Although an LMS design, this loco never ran in that railway's service, being delivered to BR from Darlington works in 1951. She is the only one of the 162-strong class to have survived into preservation. Although the class was sometimes considered unattractive, 43106 herself now benefits from quite a fan base.

I think those Ivatt 4MTs are one of the strangest engines ever made in England but its because of their oddness that i like them. I have one of these as a model from Bachmann
